Although I could see it coming I hoped it would not be another "dream sequence" or coma but... a messed up 'hyper sleep' while om a mission to Mars - in 2035 ???? - OKBradnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3737235139994190228.post-15435409998607114862009-04-07T16:34:00.000+01:002009-04-07T16:34:00.000+01:00I'm hoping that ending will grow on me. In one way I like it with the "wink" to viewers that Sam could still be hallucinating but I'd rather it just ended in 1973 once Sam decided he didn't want to go back to 2008.Picmajikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15028002016856325085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3737235139994190228.post-13872001934769343192009-04-05T23:58:00.000+01:002009-04-05T23:58:00.000+01:00Yes, I was planning on buying the DVD. Don't understand why it could be considered a good ending.

I've been watching the first series of 'Ashes To Ashes', the sequel to the UK LoM series, and it really is rather special. Just preparing myself for Series 2 which is due the week of 18th April. Reviews will be on here, of course.Frank Collinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00680654042528560764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3737235139994190228.post-4315991198063414782009-04-05T16:11:00.000+01:002009-04-05T16:11:00.000+01:00I also agree. It's really too bad, all the episodes were really good, especially the ones leading up to the finale. I thought the final episode was building up to a great emotionally fulfilling end. Instead it just left me feeling robbed. This should be used as a lesson in how not to end a television series.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3737235139994190228.post-89089830230521344862009-04-05T00:35:00.000+01:002009-04-05T00:35:00.000+01:00Sums up my feelings too. The network took a great story that they had built up over the past few months and ended it so badly it made me want to cry.
I felt as if they'd given us all the tools to create a beautiful watercolour painting, and then scrunched it up and replaced it with a paint by numbers book.
It was a really disappointing ending, and now I refuse to accept the last ten minutes of the show, and instead want to end it where Sam and Annie finally got their groove on.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14288779402612123824noreply@blogger.com
