All I can suggest is that what we are seeing isn't necessarily what it appears to be. But we expect that from Moffat.Frank Collinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00680654042528560764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3737235139994190228.post-33473319097221810012011-05-02T21:03:33.460+01:002011-05-02T21:03:33.460+01:00"there's always a bit left over" -- ..."there's always a bit left over" -- love it, well observed indeed.Zodnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3737235139994190228.post-17580663937816494112011-05-02T16:49:41.779+01:002011-05-02T16:49:41.779+01:00A fascinating and detailed review as ever, Frank. ...A fascinating and detailed review as ever, Frank. Out of interest, when you say that these two episodes open "the series with a finale, towards which the next ten episodes will contribute", is this something that Moffat has stated publicly or speculation? We're certainly taking a lot on trust that the whole thing will snap together at the end of this season (or even - gulp - the next) in satisfyingly Moffatian fashion. I'm currently listening to/watching "The Daleks' Master Plan" again and I can't help but wonder whether we're feeling now something of what audiences in 1965 might have felt after "Mission to the Unknown".Jonathan Barneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15679320276022825134noreply@blogger.com
