Thanks for bringing it to my attention. God, that thing must weigh a ton!

I loved the first/original one. Very insightful. I'm not a writer (but I do write stories) but it was fascinating to see a completely different version of RTD than shown on DW Confidential or in occasional TV interviews. As you've said, a "Russell T Valeyard"; a darker writer who agonises about stories until the very last minute.

It's a pity they didn't release the new stuff separately in a slimmer (and cheaper) volume.

And he's doing a US version of Torchwood? Wow! That's fantastic. Although... what was wrong with the British version? (Actually, it'll be excellent if the US version has completely new stories and, perhaps, references the work of it's Welsh colleagues).Nimbusnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3737235139994190228.post-85764190080938846142010-01-21T02:48:13.377+00:002010-01-21T02:48:13.377+00:00An amazing review of this newer version of The Wri...An amazing review of this newer version of The Writer's Tale! I am waiting for my copy (in the US it doesn't get released until 1/25), but I can't wait to read the new pages! It sounds mad! And exciting! Wow, Russell wrote himself into a box in COE, but pull himself out smelling like a rose. An unbelieveable writer and artist, and how lucky we are to get such insight into his mind. You captured it perfectly! Thanks.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12630832020879063134noreply@blogger.com
