Here's the preview for hour long highlights of the Doctor Who Prom, filmed this summer at the Albert Hall, and which will be transmitted on BBC1 on New Year's Day. You can also access a 90 minute version of the Prom via the Red Button service on the same day. Don't miss it. It's an absolute treat.

  1. Looks terrific. A very niciie treat for a lazy New Year's Day. I'm a big fan of Murray's Dr Who scores and the concert in the Millennium Centre in 2006 was one of the great highlights of the new success of Dr Who and this Prom looks like a wonderful coda. I heard the radio broadcast but cna't wait to sit and wallow in the pictures!

I don't think you'll be disappointed. I think I count it as one of the most exciting concerts I've ever seen.
